ABOUT FACTORY CYCLES
I'm Cam, the guy behind the brand and on the tools at Factory Cycles. I build highly engineered, customisable mountain bikes for riders who want more than mainstream brands offer: better suspension, better geometry, better everything.
It started with frustration. I couldn't find a bike with the right geometry and kinematics to suit the way I wanted to ride, so, backed by a background in industrial design and engineering, I built one. The first bike was meant to be a portfolio piece, something that looked a bit confusing at first glance and got people talking on the trails and in the lift lines. It worked a little too well, and before long I had multiple bikes under construction.
Every model since has been designed, engineered, and tested in some of the world's toughest mountain biking terrain. I push customisation, suspension performance, and braking and chassis dynamics further than large-scale manufacturers can. Models like the Tahr are built to be fully configurable across travel range, wheel size, drivetrain, and geometry.
Three and a half years in, I'm still choosing quality over mass production. It's meant a lot of prototyping, hard work, and sweaty rides up big hills, but as I've discovered, that's the only way to build something worth riding.
TALK BIKES
Factory Cycles is a one man band. I build the bikes and answer the emails. I'll get to your message as soon as I'm off the tools
